Be mindful of these Running Do's and Don'ts! From starting to run, to your sports apparel, here's what you need to know:
-Start off slow
-Relax and swing arms properly
-Wear proper running shoes
-Wear breathable and lightweight running attire
-Run with a friend
-Wear running socks to avoid blisters
-Always be alert especially on busy roads
-Take sips of water
-Warm-up and cooldown
-Take days off, do easy runs or cross-training
-Eat a light snack before the run for energy
-Use a GPS watch or mobile phone for fitness tracking or emergencies
-Rotate your running shoes
-Run too fast immediately
-Stiff shoulders while running
-Wear regular sneakers, basketball shoes, etc. when running
-Wear a cotton shirt when running
-Running alone in remote and dark areas
-Wear worn-out clothes, socks, and running shoes
-Having a high volume on your music player, not being able to hear the surroundings
-Taking gulps of water
-No warm-up and cooldown stretches
-Running with an injury
-Eating a big meal before running
-Running hard every day
