The Skechers Maxroad 5 is a well-cushioned and ultra-lightweight
running shoe with a carbon-infused plate and comfortable mesh
upper.
With this version, Skechers has taken the Maxroad 5 to a whole
new level. The midsole still consists of their lightweight and
ultra-responsive Hyperburst foam, but it now includes a
carbon-infused plate embedded within. This unique plate has an
“H” shape that allows this shoe to offer a soft and protective
experience during long runs while still having the rigidity and
snappiness needed to pick up the pace.
The Maxroad 5 is also designed to maximize efficiency with
Skechers’ M-Strike technology. This feature provides a
rocker-shaped geometry that generate smooth transitions from one
stride to the next. Finished off with a breathable engineered
mesh that adapts to different foot shapes and sizes, the Skechers
